Teacher And Government Approach On Low Economic Status Student

Based on the status quo that happened in our country there’s some problem that related to the educational problem. One of these problem is economically. There’s a number of people who lived in bellow of property line is about 17,4%. It shows us that the economic status in our country is still low. This problems effected to the educational process, when there’s smart students who don’t have money to continue their study. So what’s should government and teacher do as a facilitators through this case?

As we know together that education is a way to encourage the human resources as good as their quality. Education also can help us to improve the prosperity and spreading it to all of the nation, till the remote area. That’s why in my assumption, the government should take one step forward towards this case. This is needed because when we want to get better future, we should keep maintain the development of the education as well. Besides to prevent and to be get ready to face the implementation of AFTA and MEA, the human resources should be better too. And we can see the quality of the human resources of one country by it’s educational background.

 Unfortunately, there’s some problems that can be a barrier to reach those purposes. One of the problem is the economic. There’s about 67% of students who dropped out from their study because of this case. So, how the human resources can be improved if the educational of people is still bad?

The best solution of this problem is to give the students who don’t have any money to continue their study an opportunity to get some scholarship. Even they have so many problems in their life, they still have a spirit to continue their study. As the government and a teacher, we should help them by this way. Giving them the supports and scholarship program could help them to continue their study. This is needed because to encourage the human resources, the educational background of the people itself should be better too. Without the education, people can’t have a good quality.

The second way to help this kind of students is to facilitate them as much as we can. By giving them such kind of the chance to join some competition or something like that for example. That may help them. By join the competition in their school, whether it’s just local degree or maybe the higher degree, they may get the rewards for their achievements. On this case, they can use their rewards for their study, whether to pay the fee or to buy some books they needed.

The government should open the way for the students to get some scholarship easily. In this point, the government should make the socialization to the schools that the students can get some scholarship like bidikmisi, or any kind of scholarship. By this socialization the student and the other people may have an interests and a spirit to continue their study to the higher level. It also can encourage the motivation and the spirit of themselves. Besides, the government should also make a wide link to get the better improvemnet in education.

If we take a look to the other countries such as malaysia, singapore, and the other countrs, they have a wide link to get better improvement in education. The students in malaysia can get so many opportunity to get the scholarship. This is because they have a wide link to get those all. Then, when we compared to our country, we dont have any link to get the same opportunity towards the scholarship as well. This is become a big problem for our country to develop the eductaional beckground of the citizens cause we still have a bad condition economically.

At the end of the day, as the result, our nation can be better and have a brighter future by improving the quality of education background of the citizens. We also can be get ready for facing the globalization of economic, social and culture. We can be get ready to face AFTA  and MEA that needs a good quality of human resources. We can be get ready to be the great nation such as US and another supper power country.

Is it professional for the teacher to get involved to the student’s problem?

I thik so, it’s professional. Teacher’s purpose is to make the students to get the education, best education. Sometimes, to get the best education the students face the problems as well. Such as economic problem for example. So here, the function of the teacher is to help the student to fine the way through their problems. It’s become the obligation fo the teachers that they should kepp helping the students, whether it by giving the motivation or maybe to giving them the fee directly. As long as the teacher’s function going as well, that is as the facilitaor, it’s good for them to help the students inlow economic status.

            The teacher as a facilitator of the students to get the best education, it’s a must for them to help the students in low economic status. Whether it by giving the motivation or giving a chance to get any scholarship that may help them to continue their study. The government is also get involved in this case that is giving the socialization and open requirement to the student to get the scholarship as well, besides make a wide link to get more informaton through this case. This is needed to encourage the human resources and to spreading the prosperity over the nation. Then at the end of the day, our nation can be get ready for facing the globalization.
